Tubos Argentinos, previously owned by the Chilean CAP group, has been acquired by the Argentine Techint holding for $24 million. This deal comes months after the Paolo Rocca-led consortium increased its stake in Usiminas, consolidating its control in Brazil. Tubos Argentinos specializes in the manufacture of industrial tubes, profiles, and solar panel products. The company operates two industrial plants: one in El Talar, Buenos Aires province, and another in Justo Daract, San Luis. Its annual sales volume is around 42,000 tons.
